As part of my residency for Brent I am Art Director and Photographer on ‘Reconstruction’, a site-specific project to run community workshops for South Kilburn residents to express their feelings about regeneration through poetry and dance. I have collaborated with Barbican Young Poet Dwight Okeke, sound/ video artist Michael Speechley and dancers/ choreographers FUBUNATION (Rhys Dennis and Waddah Sinada ) to deliver the workshops. Images from this work will be projected on to the remaining boarded-up-blocks before demolition in an art installation that will coincide with The London Borough of Culture 2020.
